With the RapidCompact platform, DGG is the leading provider of automated 3D data optimization technology, allowing brands and retailers around the world to scale up their production for real-time 3D, AR, VR and Metaverse applications.

Our company is seeking a highly skilled 3D Pipeline Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing 3D pipelines that are used within or in conjunction with our software products. Additionally, you will have customer interfacing duties such as issue tracking and attending bi-weekly meetings to discuss customer needs and help deploy our 3D optimization and material conversion software packages.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize internal and customer specific 3D pipelines interfacing with our software products.  
  • Work with other developers to ensure that 3D pipelines integrate seamlessly with other software components.  
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that 3D pipelines are stable and reliable.  
  • Work closely with product team and customers to understand their needs and provide support for the deployment of our 3D optimization and material conversion software packages.  
  • Track and manage customer issues and provide timely resolution. 
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with customers to discuss their needs and how our software packages can be ideally deployed to meet those needs.  
  • Provide technical support to customers and resolve issues that arise during the deployment process.  
  • Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of 3D pipelines and identify opportunities for improvement. 


  • 3+ years of experience in software development or comparable discipline with a focus on 3D pipelines.  
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and optional C++
  • Experience with 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, or 3DS Max is a plus  
  • Deep Knowledge of 3D graphics and rendering techniques is a plus 
  • Knowledge about PBR as well as the file formats USD and glTF 
  • Experience with issue tracking software such as Jira and software development specific tools for version control etc. such as gitlab 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  
  • Customer-focused mindset.
